Prague Gaming Group Appoints Former OLG Leader Paul Godfrey to Board

The Prague Gaming Group has declared the addition of Paul Godfrey, a former leader of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), to its board of directors. Godfrey will be guiding the company’s strategic plan in Canada.

Godfrey will immediately join the Prague board and will be in charge of directing the supplier’s strategic growth in Canada.

Besides leading OLG, Godfrey has held numerous other top management roles throughout his professional journey, including the position of Publisher and CEO of the Toronto Sun Publishing Company.

Godfrey established the Canadian media group Postmedia in 2010 and continues to serve as its head. He also holds the position of chairman of the board of RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust and is a member of the board of directors of Cargojet, a Canadian airline.

Earlier in his career, Godfrey served as President and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays, the Canadian Major League Baseball team, and was part of the team that oversaw the construction of the SkyDome (now known as Rogers Centre) in Toronto.
