Betano Partners with Aston Villa in Major Sponsorship Deal

Betano, a label under the Kaizen Gaming banner, has declared a significant alliance with Aston Villa, becoming the team’s new primary partner and jersey sponsor.

Betano’s most recent move in the UK marketplace is a key collaboration with Aston Villa.

Aston Villa, presently fourth in the Premier League and having reached the Europa League semifinals, will showcase Betano’s emblem on their uniforms for the 2024-25 campaign as part of a two-year pact.

Following the declaration of sponsoring the 2024 European Championship and the 2024 Copa America, which both commence in June, Betano has forged an agreement with the Midlands club.

Chris Heck, President of Business Operations at Aston Villa, lauded the potential of the arrangement.

Heck remarked: “Aston Villa and Betano are both dedicated to striving for greatness. We anticipate achieving remarkable success together both on and off the field. This partnership denotes an exciting new chapter for both our organizations.”

George Daskalakis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kaizen Gaming, added: “Aston Villa’s robust performance in the Premier League and return to European competition aligns perfectly with Betano’s own expansion and sustained accomplishments.”

Through this partnership with Aston Villa, Betano is establishing its presence in the UK market.

Betano is making its way to the United Kingdom! They’ve joined forces with Aston Villa for a significant sponsorship agreement. This collaboration is a result of the combined efforts of Kaizen Gaming and BVGroup.

Betano is planning to debut in the UK prior to the 2024 European Championship, which will take place in Germany. They’ve already established a strong presence in Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Kaizen’s leader, Julio Iglesias Hernando, stated, “Entering the UK gambling market is a challenging endeavor. You need the right allies, just like competing in the Premier League. We’ve found exceptional partners in BVGroup. We’re confident in our success in the UK.”

Beginning in 2026, you won’t see gambling sponsors prominently displayed on the front of football jerseys.

In April 2023, Premier League clubs reached an agreement to discontinue having gambling sponsors on their shirts.

However, this regulation doesn’t come into effect until the 2026-27 season. Therefore, until then, teams like Aston Villa can still feature gambling sponsors on their jerseys.

Last June, following the announcement of the sponsorship prohibition, Villa partnered with BK8. This move was not well-received by their supporters.

The Aston Villa Fan Club has labeled this action a “last-ditch effort to manipulate the situation,” intended to secure funding from gambling sponsors while disregarding the negative consequences of gambling.
