Allwyn Partners with Karlovy Vary Film Festival to Empower Emerging Filmmakers

Lotto firm Allwyn is delighted to reveal a collaboration with Future Frames, an initiative at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival that supports up-and-coming directors. This multi-year alliance highlights Allwyn’s dedication to nurturing the future of filmmaking talent.

Founded in 1946, the Karlovy Vary Film Festival is among the most esteemed film festivals worldwide, held in the charming Czech Republic. An integral aspect of the festival since 2015, Future Frames annually chooses ten promising filmmakers to present their creations. Allwyn’s partnership will offer significant backing to these artists, including a special prize awarded during the festival’s closing ceremony.

Moreover, one fortunate director will receive a unique opportunity: a month-long mentorship in the center of Hollywood, Los Angeles. This immersive program will provide invaluable industry insights, training sessions, and networking possibilities.

Pavel Turek, Allwyn’s Chief Global Brand, Corporate Communication and CSR Officer, expressed his excitement about the collaboration: “Allwyn is committed to growing its worldwide network of victors. We are passionate about improving lives, and that goes beyond those who participate in our lotteries.”

Kristof Muchada, the big cheese at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, was utterly delighted with the entire arrangement. He believes this collaboration will be a true boost for emerging European filmmakers, providing them an opportunity to showcase their creations and establish their reputations.
