Saskatchewan to Launch PlayNow Online Gambling Site in Partnership with BCLC

The province of Saskatchewan will soon be home to a new internet gaming site, powered by a well-known name in the field.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has been selected by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) to supply its PlayNow platform for digital gaming within the province. PlayNow is currently the sole authorized online gambling website in British Columbia and Manitoba, and it will shortly be accessible to players in Saskatchewan.

The website will be customized for the Saskatchewan market, featuring popular casino games and wagering on individual sporting events. SIGA will manage the site under an operational agreement with SaskGaming, the province’s gaming regulatory body.

This development follows last year’s agreement between the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) and the Saskatchewan government, granting SIGA permission to conduct online gaming within the province.

Both SIGA and BCLC have expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, with SIGA CEO Zane Hansen remarking that the new platform will enhance the organization’s current casino operations and provide residents of Saskatchewan with a wider array of entertainment choices.

We were ecstatic to introduce the PlayNow.com system to Saskatchewan, providing local players with a premier online wagering encounter,” stated Linda Cavanaugh, BCLC’s Temporary Chief Executive Officer. “We are truly dedicated to ethical gaming, ensuring all users have a protected and dependable atmosphere. Furthermore, we are distinctive in North America, and among a select group worldwide, to provide specialized assistance from player well-being experts.”
