888Poker Returns as Proud Sponsor of the World Series of Poker for Sixth Consecutive Year

For the sixth consecutive year, 888Poker is delighted to return as a sponsor of the World Series of Poker (WSOP).

Commencing on May 26th at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, this iconic poker competition will be televised worldwide on ESPN and PokerGo.

To assist players in joining the excitement, 888Poker is conducting a series of online tournaments and special offers, including multi-phase satellite tournaments. These satellites provide players outside the United States the opportunity to secure their spot in Vegas and vie for poker’s ultimate championship.

Beginning on February 23rd and continuing until June 14th, players have the chance to win a $15,000 WSOP package each week. This remarkable prize encompasses a $10,000 entry fee to poker’s Main Event, an $888 entry fee to the Crazy Eights side event, along with travel and lodging costs.

The WSOP continues to expand annually, with an unprecedented 187,298 participants entering events in 2019. This resulted in the largest prize fund in the tournament’s five-decade history, with an astounding $293 million available to be won.

Guy Cohen, SVP of B2C at 888 Holdings, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, remarking: “We are thrilled to be coming back to sponsor the World Series of Poker for our sixth year in a row. As a testament to our dedication to making poker more approachable and engaging for our players, we are honored to be a longstanding supporter of the WSOP, the grandest and most esteemed poker series globally. Our players will have the chance to win their entries to the biggest poker event of the year directly through 888poker’s online platform.”
