Betfred has formally debuted its digital sports wagering platform in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a mere four weeks after revealing a collaborative endeavor with Loudoun United FC. This signifies the ninth state where Betfred has established its sports gambling operations.
Brian Bennett, Chief Operating Officer of Betfred USA Sports, conveyed his enthusiasm, remarking, “We are elated to finally be operational in Virginia and eagerly anticipate commencing our partnership with Loudoun United.” He underscored the opportune timing of the launch, coinciding with significant impending athletic contests and the commencement of the Major League Soccer season.
As a component of the collaboration, Betfred’s emblem will be displayed on the rear of Loudoun United’s jerseys throughout the 2023 season. Doug Rafferty, Executive Business Officer of Loudoun United FC, shared his delight, stating, “We are pleased to present Betfred as our official sports wagering associate.” He emphasized the noticeable visibility Betfred will maintain during home matches and throughout the club’s online platforms.
This introduction follows closely on the heels of Betfred’s multi-year accord with the Vegas Golden Knights, designating them as the official sports betting partner of the hockey franchise. Kerry Bubolz, President of the Vegas Golden Knights, welcomed Betfred to Las Vegas, expressing their shared enthusiasm for the collaborative undertaking.
